Hello, my name is David Glauber and I am a Tea Party Republican.   I ran for KY Senate in 2010 and will likely run for another office in 2014, so I am making preparations now.

My biggest concern with government is the overspending that comes with the constant expansion of government control.  I do not need the government to treat me like a child and protect me from my own bad decisions.  I also don't need the government setting a limit on how much money I can make due to my good decisions

As your Senator  or Congressman I will not use the government to solve your problems, but
I will move the government out of your way, so you can solve your own problems.

Born and raised in Carroll County, I am the son of a farmer and small business owner.  My family has owned and managed Glauber’s Shoe Store since 1863 as well as a sporting goods store since the 70’s.   After working in the stores and family farm through high school, I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Finance degree and Economics minor and am currently pursuing an MBA at Indiana University.  In 2004, I started American Appraisers Corporation.  We provide commercial real estate appraisals all across the United States and specialize in church properties.

My wife Lea is a native of Bullitt County.  She graduated from Bullitt East and then The University of Louisville and has taught at Brooks, Maryville and now Old Mill Elementary in Bullitt County.

I offer you a lifetime of experience with small business, farming and real estate.  I'm pro-gun and pro-life.  I'm for small government, low taxes and most importantly individual responsibility.   I sincerely appreciate your vote and if elected, I expect you to hold me accountable for standing by and fighting for those values.

Sincerely,
